عبَّر رئيس الحكومة اللبنانية نواف سلام، في منشور على منصة «إكس»، أمس (الخميس)، عن «الشكر للمملكة العربية السعودية وقيادتها الحريصة دوماً على استقرار لبنان وازدهاره»، مثمناً مبادرتها «بالإعلان عن الاستعداد لاتخاذ خطوات وشيكة لتعزيز العلاقات التجارية بين البلدين ورفع العوائق أمام الصادرات اللبنانية».
وأضاف سلام أن لبنان يُقدِّر عالياً تقدير المملكة لجهود رئيسي الجمهورية والحكومة اللبنانية في منع استخدام لبنان لزعزعة أمن أشقائه العرب، ومكافحته لتهريب المخدرات، مؤكداً أن لبنان يبقى الشقيق المخلص الوفيّ لأشقائه العرب الذين لم يترددوا يوماً في إظهار كل المحبة والدعم له.

The Lebanese Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, which is always keen on Lebanon's stability and prosperity, in a post on the "X" platform yesterday (Thursday). He praised the initiative "to announce readiness to take imminent steps to enhance trade relations between the two countries and remove barriers to Lebanese exports."
Salam added that Lebanon highly appreciates the Kingdom's recognition of the efforts of the Lebanese President and Prime Minister in preventing Lebanon from being used to undermine the security of its Arab brothers and in combating drug trafficking, affirming that Lebanon remains the loyal and faithful brother to its Arab siblings, who have never hesitated to show all their love and support for it.
