تشهد مدينة صبيا بمنطقة جازان، انتشاراً عشوائياً متزايداً للدراجات النارية، التي حولتها العمالة السائبة إلى وسيلة «تاكسي» لتوصيل الأفراد ونقل البضائع، وسط غياب وسائل السلامة ومخالفة الأنظمة المرورية، وباتت الظاهرة تشكل خطراً على السلامة العامة. وأبدى الأهالي وزوّار صبيا لـ«عكاظ»، انزعاجهم من انتشار الدراجات التي تجوب شوارع المدينة، ورصدت «عكاظ»، معاناة سكان وزوّار المدينة، الذين أبدوا انزعاجهم من ظاهرة انتشار الدراجات النارية العشوائي في أسواق الداخلي والفل والخضار وطرق المدينة والحدائق العامة، إضافة إلى استهتار بعض قائديها في السير بالحدائق العامة، معرضين حياتهم وحياة المتنزهين للخطر.

ويطالب الأهالي الجهات المختصة بضرورة الوقوف على معاناتهم على وجه السرعة وتكثيف الرقابة، وعدم الاكتفاء بالحملات المؤقتة. وحث علي جعفري إدارة المرور، على ملاحقة المستهترين بحياتهم وحياة المتسوقين، خصوصاً أن بعضهم حولها لوسيلة لنقل الأفراد والسلع. وأضاف: إن العمالة السائبة شوهوا مدينة صبيا بعشوائية قيادة الدراجات النارية، إذ لوحظ أن بعضهم يقومون بنقل ثلاثة وأربعة أفراد على الدراجة.

فيما ناشد محمد سبعي الجهات المسؤولة بمتابعة طرق المدينة، وضبط أصحاب الدبابات الذين لا يلتزمون بأنظمة السلامة المرورية والذوق العام، ومنعهم من دخول الأماكن العامة، لتكون أكثر أماناً على حياة الأهالي وزوار المدينة.

ويشاركه محمد الذروي بالقول: إن قيادة الدراجات النارية العشوائية في طرقات وأسواق صبيا أصبحت مقلقة لقائدي المركبات، والمتسوقين. وأشار إلى أن الدراجات يكثر وجودها في الأسواق، وفي مداخل وأزقة السوق الداخلي، مناشداً الجهات الأمنية بتكثيف جهودها بالحملات التفتيشية على مداخل ومخارج السوق الداخلي، والتركيز على الدراجات النارية التي أصبحت تنتشر بشكل مخيف.

The city of Sabya in the Jazan region is witnessing an increasing random spread of motorcycles, which have been turned into a "taxi" service by unregulated labor for transporting individuals and goods, amidst a lack of safety measures and violations of traffic regulations. This phenomenon has become a danger to public safety. Residents and visitors of Sabya expressed their annoyance to "Okaz" regarding the proliferation of motorcycles roaming the city's streets. "Okaz" documented the suffering of the residents and visitors of the city, who voiced their concerns about the random spread of motorcycles in the internal markets, Al-Fal, vegetables, city roads, and public parks, in addition to the recklessness of some riders who drive in public parks, putting their lives and the lives of park-goers at risk.

Residents are demanding that the relevant authorities urgently address their suffering and intensify monitoring, rather than relying solely on temporary campaigns. Ali Jafri urged the traffic department to pursue those who are reckless with their lives and the lives of shoppers, especially since some have turned motorcycles into a means of transporting individuals and goods. He added that unregulated labor has distorted the city of Sabya with the chaotic driving of motorcycles, noting that some of them transport three or four individuals on a single bike.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Sabai called on the responsible authorities to monitor the city's roads and apprehend motorcycle riders who do not adhere to traffic safety regulations and public decency, and to prevent them from entering public places to make them safer for the residents and visitors of the city.

Mohammed Al-Dhroui echoed this sentiment, stating that the random riding of motorcycles on the roads and markets of Sabya has become alarming for vehicle drivers and shoppers. He pointed out that motorcycles are prevalent in the markets and at the entrances and alleys of the internal market, urging security authorities to intensify their efforts with inspection campaigns at the entrances and exits of the internal market, focusing on the motorcycles that have become frighteningly widespread.
