جدّد عدد من أهالي محافظة أحد رفيدة ومركزي الفرعين وشعف جارمة، مطالبهم بخدمات بلدية لا تزال حبيسة الأدراج منذ سنوات، وطالبوا بتلبيتها دون التركيز على جهة وإهمال أخرى يسكنها الآلاف. وقالوا إن المناشدات تتكرر دون تلبيتها. وقال محمد القحطاني لـ«عكاظ»: المطالب تتضمن سفلتة شوارع، واستكمال إنارة شوارع ما زالت مظلمة في المحافظة ومركزي الفرعين والشعف، وإنشاء حدائق ومماشٍ وملاعب في قرى وأحياء ومخططات سكنية جنوبي المحافظة لا يزال سكانها يطالبون بها منذ سنوات. ومن المطالب الاهتمام بنظافة المقابر وقطع الأشجار والحشائش والأشواك، ودعم متنزه المربع السياحي وتنظيمه بكل ما هو جذاب ولافت للزائر، وزيادة التشجير والسفلتة والإنارة في المحافظة التي تعتبر الواجهة السياحية الأولى في المنطقة ويرتادها الآلاف من المواطنين والمقيمين، وأيضاً ربط قرية بني تميم وجنوب المحافظة بشارع ومزلقان عبر وادي الصفق الذي يبلغ عرضه خمسة أمتار تقريباً، والمسافة قصيرة والشارع نافذ الآن ولكنه ضيق وترابي، وكذلك إنشاء حديقة وممشى في موقع تم الاطلاع عليه ميدانياً من قبل رئيس بلدية المحافظة السابق. وأضاف علي بن هذال أن أهالي المحافظة يتطلعون إلى شارعين على الأقل مميزين وجاذبين، ومزار سياحي، وإنارة مخطط لزمة الذي لم يرَ النور منذ سنوات عديدة رغم المطالبات، وكذلك الشارع المؤدي لصوامع الغلال، المتجه من دوار حي لزمة، ووضع لمسات إنارة للدورات بشكل مبسط.ويطالب هادي بن رائد بتفعيل الجولات الميدانية للمراكز والقرى للاطلاع على الاحتياجات البلدية، وعمل لوحات ترحيبية في مداخل المحافظة من جميع الجهات، وذلك على شكل مجسمات؛ لكي يتسنى للزائر وسالكي الطريق معرفة المحافظة وإنارة وتوسعة الطريق الذي يربط مركز الفرعين بطريق الصوح مروراً بقرية آل لغر حتى قرية آل نادر، وعمل ديوانية لمركز الفرعين وملعب كبير للشباب، وتهيئة مداخل المراكز والقرى بأرصفة وتشجير وإنارة ديكورية، وعمل لوحات تعريفية على مداخل القرى. A number of residents from the governorate of Ahad Rufaida and the centers of Al-Farain and Shaaf Jarima have renewed their demands for municipal services that have remained stuck in drawers for years. They called for these services to be provided without focusing on one area while neglecting others that are home to thousands. They stated that their appeals are repeated without being met. Mohammed Al-Qahtani told "Okaz": The demands include paving streets, completing the lighting of streets that are still dark in the governorate and the centers of Al-Farain and Shaaf, and creating parks, walkways, and playgrounds in villages, neighborhoods, and residential plans in the southern part of the governorate, which residents have been requesting for years. Among the demands is the attention to the cleanliness of cemeteries, cutting trees, grass, and thorns, supporting and organizing the Al-Murabba tourist park with everything that is attractive and eye-catching for visitors, and increasing tree planting, paving, and lighting in the governorate, which is considered the primary tourist destination in the region and is frequented by thousands of citizens and residents. They also called for connecting the village of Bani Tamim and the southern part of the governorate with a road and a crossing via Wadi Al-Safaq, which is approximately five meters wide, as the distance is short and the road is currently accessible but narrow and unpaved. Additionally, they requested the establishment of a park and a walkway in a location that was inspected on-site by the former mayor of the governorate. Ali bin Hithal added that the residents of the governorate are looking forward to at least two distinctive and attractive streets, a tourist attraction, and lighting for the Al-Lazmah plan, which has not seen the light for many years despite the requests, as well as the road leading to the grain silos, which goes from the Al-Lazmah roundabout, and to add simple lighting touches to the restrooms.Hadi bin Raed demands the activation of field tours for the centers and villages to assess municipal needs, and the creation of welcome signs at the entrances to the governorate from all directions, in the form of sculptures, so that visitors and road users can recognize the governorate. He also called for lighting and widening the road that connects the Al-Farain center to the Al-Suh road, passing through the village of Al-Lughar until the village of Al-Nader, establishing a diwaniya for the Al-Farain center, a large playground for youth, preparing the entrances of the centers and villages with sidewalks, tree planting, decorative lighting, and creating informational signs at the entrances of the villages.
