أقرت الحكومة اللبنانية أخيرًأ مشروع قانون الانتظام المالي وتوزيع الخسائر، بعد أكثر من 6 سنوات على أزمة اقتصادية غير مسبوقة حرمت اللبنانيين من ودائعهم، رغم اعتراض قوى سياسية ومصرفية على بنوده.

ويتعيّن على الحكومة إحالة مرسوم مشروع القانون إلى البرلمان المنقسم سياسياً تمهيداً لإقراره حتى يصبح نافذاً، في خطوة تشكل مطلباً رئيسياً لصندوق النقد الدولي ويعتبرها خبراء حيوية من أجل تعافي الاقتصاد.

وبموافقة 13 وزيراً ومعارضة 9 آخرين، أقرّت الحكومة الجمعة مشروع القانون الذي يقضي بتوزيع الخسائر المالية بين الدولة والمصرف المركزي والمصارف التجارية والمودعين، وفقاً لوكالة (أ ف ب).

وقال رئيس الحكومة نواف سلام للصحفيين عقب الجلسة التي ترأسها، إن مشروع القانون ليس مثالياً وربما لا يحقق تطلعات الجميع، لكنه خطوة واقعية ومنصفة على طريق استعادة الحقوق ووقف الانهيار الذي يعاني منه البلد وإعادة العافية إلى القطاع المصرفي.

The Lebanese government has finally approved the draft law on financial regularization and the distribution of losses, after more than 6 years of an unprecedented economic crisis that deprived Lebanese people of their deposits, despite objections from political and banking forces to its provisions.

The government must refer the draft law decree to the politically divided parliament in preparation for its approval so that it becomes effective, in a step that is a key demand of the International Monetary Fund and is considered vital by experts for the recovery of the economy.

With the approval of 13 ministers and the opposition of 9 others, the government approved the draft law on Friday, which stipulates the distribution of financial losses between the state, the central bank, commercial banks, and depositors, according to the (AFP) agency.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told reporters after the session he chaired that the draft law is not perfect and may not meet everyone's aspirations, but it is a realistic and fair step towards restoring rights, halting the collapse that the country is suffering from, and reviving the banking sector.
