أكد وزير الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بندر الخريف أن السعودية شهدت تغيراً جذرياً في نظرة المستثمرين الأجانب والشركات الكبرى، وأن ما كان يُنظر إليه سابقاً على أنه طموحات أصبح اليوم واقعاً ملموساً.
وأوضح الخريف، في مقابلة مع قناة سي إن بي سي العربية، أن الشركات باتت اليوم تناقش كيفية الدخول إلى السوق السعودية، والقطاعات والمنتجات والمشاريع التي تسعى المملكة إلى جذبها، مشيراً إلى وجود اهتمام كبير وطلبات عديدة من شركات أجنبية.
وأشار إلى أن هناك طلبات كبيرة من الشركات التي تطمح إلى تحقيق حصص سوقية كبيرة داخل المملكة أو اتخاذها منصة للتوسع الإقليمي، في ظل ما توفره السوق من فرص استثمارية متنوعة.
وجهة مهمة
وبين الخريف أن المملكة أثبتت مكانتها كإحدى أفضل الدول عالمياً في الاستثمار التعديني من ناحية سهولة الإجراءات وسرعة إصدار التراخيص، مبيناً أن الاستقرار السياسي والمالي، إلى جانب الطلب المتزايد في السوق المحلية والإقليمية، جعل المملكة وجهة مهمة تدرس الشركات الكبرى آليات بدء أعمالها فيها.
وقال: «إن الوزارة تتفاوض مع جميع شركات الأدوية العالمية بشكل أو بآخر لتوطين الصناعات في السعودية، كما تم تحقيق نجاحات في هذا القطاع».
وأشار إلى أن هناك نمواً لتسويق المنتجات التقنية خارج المملكة، لافتاً إلى أنه يراهن على نمو هذا القطاع. وأفاد أنه توجد خدمات تقنية موجودة حالياً في السعودية غير موجودة في دول أخرى، وهذه الخدمات والتطبيقات يمكن تصديرها.
The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, confirmed that Saudi Arabia has witnessed a fundamental change in the perception of foreign investors and major companies, and what was previously viewed as ambitions has now become a tangible reality.
Al-Khorayef explained, in an interview with CNBC Arabia, that companies are now discussing how to enter the Saudi market, the sectors, products, and projects that the Kingdom seeks to attract, noting the significant interest and numerous requests from foreign companies.
He pointed out that there are substantial requests from companies aiming to achieve large market shares within the Kingdom or to use it as a platform for regional expansion, given the diverse investment opportunities the market offers.
An Important Destination
Al-Khorayef stated that the Kingdom has established its position as one of the best countries globally for mining investment in terms of ease of procedures and the speed of issuing licenses, explaining that political and financial stability, along with the increasing demand in the local and regional markets, has made the Kingdom an important destination that major companies are considering for starting their operations.
He said, "The ministry is negotiating with all global pharmaceutical companies in one way or another to localize industries in Saudi Arabia, and successes have been achieved in this sector."
He noted that there is growth in marketing technological products outside the Kingdom, emphasizing that he is betting on the growth of this sector. He stated that there are technological services currently available in Saudi Arabia that are not present in other countries, and these services and applications can be exported.
