أطلقت وزارة التعليم مبادرة «شهم الموهوب» لتنمية المهارات القيادية والاجتماعية لدى الموهوبين والموهوبات.

وبينت أن البرنامج نوعي يُقدَّم في بيئة خارجية آمنة ومنظمة، يعتمد على التعليم التجريبي من خلال أنشطة ومغامرات هادفة لبناء الشخصية وصقل المهارات الحياتية والقيادية والاجتماعية، وفق منهجية عالمية.

وأشارت إلى أنه يهدف إلى قياس الأثر وصناعة تجربة مستدامة والابتعاد عن المشتتات وبناء الشخصية وتحمل المسؤولية وتجربة تعليمية قيادية في بيئة طبيعية ملهمة وتمكين اجتماعي وتعزيز روح المبادرة.

وأوضحت أنه سيتم تنفيذ البرنامج في أربع مناطق بالمملكة هي الوسطى في محمية الملك خالد والمنطقة الشمالية في محمية الملك سلمان والمنطقة الغربية في محافظة الطائف (الشفا) والمنطقة الجنوبية في عسير وتنومة. وأضافت الوزارة أن البرنامج يستهدف 600 مشارك ومشاركة ويتضمن 20 رحلة تعليمية.

The Ministry of Education has launched the "Shahm Al-Mohawib" initiative to develop leadership and social skills among gifted individuals.

It indicated that the program is specialized and is offered in a safe and organized external environment, relying on experiential learning through purposeful activities and adventures aimed at building character and honing life, leadership, and social skills, according to a global methodology.

It pointed out that the program aims to measure impact, create a sustainable experience, avoid distractions, build character, take responsibility, and provide a leadership educational experience in an inspiring natural environment, along with social empowerment and enhancing the spirit of initiative.

It clarified that the program will be implemented in four regions of the Kingdom: the Central region in King Khalid Reserve, the Northern region in King Salman Reserve, the Western region in Taif Governorate (Al-Shifa), and the Southern region in Asir and Tanomah. The ministry added that the program targets 600 male and female participants and includes 20 educational trips.
