هدد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الحكومة الإيرانية، بأن الهجوم المحتمل القادم «سيكون أسوأ» من الضربة السابقة التي شنتها الولايات المتحدة في شهر يونيو الماضي.
ودعا ترمب في منشور على منصة «تروث سوشيال»، اليوم (الأربعاء)، إيران إلى سرعة الجلوس إلى طاولة المفاوضات، قبل فوات الأوان، مهدداً بأن الهجوم القادم المحتمل سيكون أسوأ من السابق.
وكرر الرئيس الأمريكي التأكيد على إرسال أسطول عسكري إضافي إلى منطقة الشرق الأوسط، قائلاً: «أسطول بحري ضخم يتجه نحو إيران، إنه يتحرك بسرعة كبيرة، وبقوة وحماسة وهدف واضح». ولفت إلى أن «الأسطول الذي تقوده حاملة الطائرات العملاقة أبراهام لينكولن أكبر مقارنة بالأسطول الذي تم إرساله إلى فنزويلا».
وأضاف: «كما كان الحال مع فنزويلا، فإن هذا الأسطول مستعد وراغب وقادر على تنفيذ مهمته بسرعة وبقوة، وبالعنف إذا لزم الأمر».
وعبّر ترمب عن أمله في أن تبادر إيران سريعاً إلى الجلوس إلى طاولة المفاوضات والتوصل إلى اتفاق عادل ومنصف بشأن البرنامج النووي، بما يضمن عدم امتلاك إيران لأي أسلحة نووية، مؤكداً أن هذا الاتفاق «سيكون في مصلحة جميع الأطراف».
وشدد الرئيس الأمريكي على أن الوقت ينفد، والأمر بالغ الأهمية فعلاً، مضيفاً: كما قلت لإيران من قبل: «أبرموا اتفاقاً، ولم يفعلوا، وكانت هناك عملية مطرقة منتصف الليل، التي أسفرت عن دمار كبير في إيران»، في إشارة إلى هجوم يونيو الماضي. وأكد أن الهجوم القادم سيكون أسوأ بكثير، «لا تجعلوا ذلك يحدث مرة أخرى».

In a post on the "Truth Social" platform today (Wednesday), Trump called on Iran to quickly sit down at the negotiating table before it’s too late, threatening that the potential upcoming attack would be worse than the last.
The U.S. President reiterated the commitment to send an additional military fleet to the Middle East, stating: "A massive naval fleet is heading towards Iran, it is moving very quickly, with strength, enthusiasm, and a clear purpose." He noted that "the fleet led by the giant aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln is larger compared to the fleet that was sent to Venezuela."
He added: "As was the case with Venezuela, this fleet is ready, willing, and able to carry out its mission swiftly and forcefully, and violently if necessary."
Trump expressed hope that Iran would quickly take the initiative to sit down at the negotiating table and reach a fair and just agreement regarding its nuclear program, ensuring that Iran does not possess any nuclear weapons, emphasizing that this agreement "will be in the interest of all parties."
The U.S. President stressed that time is running out, and the matter is indeed critical, adding: As I told Iran before: "Make a deal, and they didn’t, and there was a midnight hammer operation, which resulted in significant destruction in Iran," referring to the attack last June. He confirmed that the upcoming attack would be much worse, "don’t let that happen again."
