أثنت الصحفية البحرينية عهدية السيد، رئيسة منصة «تايميز أوف بحرين» الرقمية، على تجربة «عكاظ» خلال جلسة «الإعلام المحلي في ميدان التواصل الرقمي» ضمن فعاليات المنتدى السعودي للإعلام، ووصفتها بأنها نموذج رائد في دمج الإعلام التقليدي مع الرقمي بطريقة احترافية ومؤثرة. «عكاظ».. الريادة في المحتوى الرقمي وقالت السيد: «عكاظ تعد من أبرز الصحف العربية والدولية التي نجحت في استثمار منصات التواصل الاجتماعي لنقل المحتوى الصحفي»، مؤكدة أن «التجربة تستحق الإشادة لما تقدمه من محتوى موثوق يوازن بين السرعة والمصداقية». وأضافت: «التحدي ليس سهلاً، والصحافة ليست سلعة للبيع، بل مهمة تحتاج تدريباً ومهارات، وهذا ما يميز الصحف الحقيقية مثل عكاظ». التحديات في عصر الهاتف الذكي وأشارت إلى الصعوبات التي تواجه الإعلام التقليدي في مواجهة كل من يحمل هاتفاً ويصف نفسه بأنه صحفي، موضحة أن الفيديوهات القصيرة قد تحقق مكاسب مادية، لكنها لا تنقل الصورة كاملة، بعكس الصحافة المهنية التي تتمسك بالقيم والمبادئ. الصحافة التقليدية سبب المصداقية وشددت السيد على أن وسائل الإعلام التقليدية لن تختفي قريباً، وأن لقب «إعلامي» ليس متاحاً للجميع، بل يستحقه من يلتزم بالمعايير الصحفية ويقدّم محتوى ذا قيمة، معتبرة أن «عكاظ» مثال حي على هذه المصداقية والاحترافية. نموذج يحتذى به واختتمت حديثها بالإشادة بالتجربة الرائدة لـ«عكاظ» في استخدام الإعلام الرقمي، مؤكدة أن نجاح الصحيفة يمثل نموذجاً يحتذى به في المنطقة العربية في زمن تزداد فيه التحديات الإعلامية والتنافسية. Challenges in the Age of Smartphones She pointed out the difficulties faced by traditional media in confronting anyone who carries a phone and calls themselves a journalist, explaining that short videos may achieve financial gains, but they do not convey the complete picture, unlike professional journalism that adheres to values and principles. Traditional Journalism as a Source of Credibility Al-Sayed emphasized that traditional media will not disappear anytime soon, and the title of "journalist" is not available to everyone, but is deserved by those who adhere to journalistic standards and provide valuable content, considering "Okaz" a living example of this credibility and professionalism. A Model to Be Emulated She concluded her remarks by praising the pioneering experience of "Okaz" in utilizing digital media, affirming that the newspaper's success represents a model to be emulated in the Arab region at a time when media and competitive challenges are increasing.
