تمكنت السلطات السورية، من القبض على عناصر شبكة إجرامية لتهريب المخدرات، وأعلنت وزارة الداخلية اليوم الثلاثاء، أن إدارة مكافحة المخدرات نفذت سلسلة من العمليات النوعية المحكمة في مناطق الجنوب. وأضافت في بيان عبر X، أن الحملة استهدفت شبكة إجرامية متخصصة في تجارة وتهريب المواد المخدرة. وأفادت الوزارة بأن الجهود أسفرت عن إلقاء القبض على كلٍّ من: «أ.ر»، و«ج.ر»، و«ن.ك»، و«م.ر»، وضبط كمية ضخمة من المواد المخدرة كانت معدّة للتهريب إلى الأردن. وأكدت أن جميع المضبوطات صُودرت بالكامل، فيما أُحيل المقبوض عليهم إلى القضاء المختص لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقهم. وجددت إدارة مكافحة المخدرات عزمها على استمرار تنفيذ العمليات النوعية بحزم ويقظة عاليتين، لضبط شبكات المخدرات بكافة أشكالها. وشددت على أن ذلك يأتي حماية للمجتمع والشباب، وصوناً للأمن العام وإثباتاً لقدرة الإدارة على إحكام السيطرة على شبكات المخدرات وضمان الأمن، وفق البيان. يذكر أنه على مدى الأشهر والسنوات الماضية، أعلن الأردن مراراً وتكراراً إحباط العديد من محاولات تهريب أسلحة ومخدرات، نفذها متسللون من سورية. وشكل الكبتاغون أكبر صادرات سورية إبان الحرب التي اندلعت عام 2011، وكان بيع هذه المادة المنشطة وغير القانونية يعد مصدراً أساساً لتمويل نظام الأسد. وأعلنت السلطات الجديدة بقيادة الرئيس أحمد الشرع، منذ سقوط النظام السوري، حملات ضبط الملايين من أقراص الكبتاغون، لتتراجع عمليات التهريب. The Syrian authorities managed to arrest members of a criminal network involved in drug trafficking. The Ministry of Interior announced today, Tuesday, that the Narcotics Control Department carried out a series of precise operations in the southern regions. It added in a statement via X that the campaign targeted a criminal network specialized in the trade and smuggling of narcotic substances. The ministry reported that the efforts resulted in the arrest of: “A.R”, “J.R”, “N.K”, and “M.R”, and a large quantity of narcotic substances was seized, which was prepared for smuggling to Jordan. It confirmed that all seized items were confiscated entirely, while the arrested individuals were referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal actions against them. The Narcotics Control Department reiterated its determination to continue executing precise operations with firmness and high vigilance to control drug networks in all their forms. It emphasized that this is aimed at protecting the community and youth, safeguarding public security, and proving the department's ability to maintain control over drug networks and ensure security, according to the statement. It is worth mentioning that over the past months and years, Jordan has repeatedly announced thwarting numerous attempts to smuggle weapons and drugs carried out by infiltrators from Syria. Captagon constituted the largest Syrian export during the war that erupted in 2011, and the sale of this illegal stimulant was considered a primary source of funding for the Assad regime. The new authorities led by President Ahmad al-Shara have announced campaigns to seize millions of Captagon pills since the fall of the Syrian regime, leading to a decline in smuggling operations.
