كشف البنك المركزي الأوروبي، خططا لدعم سيولة اليورو عبر توسيع خطوط إعادة الشراء «الريبو» وجعلها متاحة عالميا وبشكل دائم ابتداء من الربع الثالث 2026، بعد أن كان الوصول إليها محصورا سابقا بعدد محدود من الدول، معظمها في أوروبا الشرقية.

وتهدف الخطوة إلى تعزيز الدور الدولي لليورو وحماية الأسواق من اضطرابات التمويل، من خلال إتاحة وصول مباشر للبنوك المركزية حول العالم إلى سيولة باليورو مقابل ضمانات عالية الجودة في أوقات الأزمات؛ ما يعزز الثقة في الاستثمار والتداول بالعملة الأوروبية ويدعم مكانتها مقابل الدولار في ظل تزايد تقلبات السياسات الاقتصادية الأمريكية.
The European Central Bank has unveiled plans to support euro liquidity by expanding repurchase agreement (repo) lines and making them available globally and permanently starting from the third quarter of 2026, after previously being accessible only to a limited number of countries, mostly in Eastern Europe.
The new mechanism includes providing permanent access to liquidity of up to 50 billion euros.

The aim of this step is to enhance the international role of the euro and protect markets from funding disruptions by providing direct access for central banks around the world to euro liquidity against high-quality collateral during times of crisis; this strengthens confidence in investing and trading in the European currency and supports its position against the dollar amid increasing volatility in U.S. economic policies.
