وجّه وزير الدفاع الفريق الركن دكتور طاهر العقيلي، اليوم (الخميس)، الجيش اليمني بالحفاظ على أعلى درجات الجاهزية واليقظة، وتعزيز مستوى التنسيق بين مختلف الوحدات والتشكيلات العسكرية بما يسهم في رفع مستوى الأداء العملياتي والتعامل مع المستجدات الميدانية بكل اقتدار. وعقد وزير الدفاع في محافظة مارب، اليوم، اجتماعاً ضم رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق الركن صغير بن عزيز، ورؤساء هيئتي العمليات والإسناد اللوجستي، ونواب رؤساء هيئتي القوى البشرية والاستخبارات، وقادة المناطق العسكرية الثالثة والسادسة والسابعة، بحضور ممثلين عن قيادة تحالف دعم الشرعية، لمناقشة تطورات الأوضاع العسكرية في مسرح العمليات وآليات تعزيز التنسيق والتكامل بين الوحدات والتشكيلات العسكرية بما يضمن كفاءة الأداء في تنفيذ المهمات الوطنية. في غضون ذلك، قُتل 23 مسلحاً حوثياً و4 جنود يمنيين في مواجهات عسكرية اندلعت، مساء أمس (الخميس)، بين الجيش اليمني ومسلحين حوثيين حاولوا التسلل في جبهتي الفاخر والجب بمحافظة الضالع وسط اليمن. وأكد المركز الإعلامي لجبهة الضالع أن المواجهات اندلعت مع الحوثيين في جبهتي الفاخر والجب بالمحافظة بعد محاولة عناصر المليشيا الإرهابية التسلل، مؤكداً مقتل 23 مسلحاً حوثياً بينهم قياديون ميدانيون من المتسللين وأسر 7 آخرين، إضافة إلى مقتل 4 جنود وإصابة 10 آخرين. وأكد المركز دعم السلطات اليمنية للجبهة بتعزيزات كبيرة للجبهتين. وكانت المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية شنت، أمس، قصفاً عشوائياً عنيفاً على القرى السكنية في مديرية قعطبة بمحافظة الضالع مما أسفر عن إصابة مواطن، أثناء عمله في سوق الزبيرات في قرية شخب غرب مديرية قعطبة. وقصفت مليشيا الحوثي بقذائف الهاون سوق الزبيرات وقرية شخب وعدداً من القرى المجاورة والمزارع غرب مديرية قعطبة، ما أثار حالة من الخوف والهلع في أوساط السكان.
