تعرضت جدارية ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد، الظهير الأيمن لنادي ريال مدريد، للتشويه بالقرب من ملعب «أنفيلد »قبل المواجهة المرتقبة لفريقه ضد ليفربول اليوم (الثلاثاء) في مسابقة دوري أبطال أوروبا. وكان أرنولد قد انضم إلى ريال مدريد خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الماضية في صفقة انتقال حر بعد انتهاء عقده مع ليفربول ورفضه تجديده. وقبل قمة الليلة، شوه عدد من مشجعي ليفربول الجدارية التي تظهر أرنولد بجانب العبارة الشهيرة «أنا مجرد شاب عادي من ليفربول أصبح حلمه حقيقة»، وذلك بالطلاء الأبيض، مع إضافة عبارة «وداعاً أيها الفأر» باللغة الإسبانية. وحاول عمال النظافة إعادة الجدارية إلى وضعها الطبيعي، وهي التي صُممت تكريماً لأرنولد بعد فوز ليفربول بدوري أبطال أوروبا في عام 2019. The mural of Trent Alexander-Arnold, the right-back for Real Madrid, was vandalized near Anfield ahead of his team's anticipated match against Liverpool today (Tuesday) in the UEFA Champions League. Arenold joined Real Madrid during the last summer transfer window on a free transfer after his contract with Liverpool ended and he refused to renew it. Before tonight's clash, several Liverpool fans defaced the mural depicting Arnold alongside the famous phrase "I’m just a regular kid from Liverpool who made his dream come true," by painting it white and adding the phrase "Goodbye rat" in Spanish. Clean-up workers attempted to restore the mural to its original state, which was designed in honor of Arnold after Liverpool won the Champions League in 2019.
