أبدى مدرب الشارقة الإماراتي ميلوس ميلوفيتش، أسفه لخسارة فريقه بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل أمام الاتحاد السعودي، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، في اللقاء الذي أقيم أمس على ملعب «الإنماء» بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة.
وأوضح ميلوفيتش خلال المؤتمر الصحفي عقب المباراة أن الاتحاد يمتلك جودة عالية مكّنته من استثمار الفرص وتحويلها إلى أهداف، في حين لم يوفق لاعبو الشارقة في ترجمة محاولاتهم رغم الجهد المبذول خلال المباراة.
وأشار إلى غياب العديد من العناصر بسبب الإصابة، ما أثّر على توازن الفريق داخل الملعب، مؤكداً أن الفريق يفتقد إلى قائد ميداني قادر على توجيه زملائه وتغيير مجريات اللقاء في الأوقات الحاسمة.
وأفاد أن المرحلة القادمة تتطلب تعزيز صفوف الفريق بعناصر جديدة تملك الحضور القيادي، داعياً جماهير الشارقة إلى مؤازرة الفريق ومساندته بالشكل الذي أظهره جمهور الاتحاد مع فريقه، مبيناً أن الدعم الجماهيري يمثل دافعاً مهماً للعودة إلى المنافسة في الجولات القادمة.
The coach of Sharjah, Milos Milojevic, expressed his regret for his team's loss by three goals to none against Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League, in a match that took place yesterday at the "Al-Inma" stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
Milojevic explained during the press conference after the match that Al-Ittihad possesses high quality that enabled them to capitalize on opportunities and convert them into goals, while the Sharjah players were unable to translate their attempts despite the effort exerted during the match.
He pointed out the absence of many players due to injuries, which affected the team's balance on the field, confirming that the team lacks a field leader capable of directing his teammates and changing the course of the match at critical moments.
He stated that the upcoming phase requires strengthening the team's roster with new players who have leadership presence, calling on Sharjah fans to support the team in the same way that Al-Ittihad's fans supported their team, indicating that fan support is an important motivator for returning to competition in the upcoming rounds.
