ما زال سكان مركز العبلاء، 100 كلم غرب بيشة بمنطقة عسير، ينتظرون منذ سنوات أن يروا وصول الخدمات إلى مركزهم الذي يشهد مع الوقت زيادة في سكانه، فحتى اللحظة، وحسب قولهم، يأملون أن يروا أكثر الخدمات التي باتت في يومنا هذا ضرورية وحاجة ملحة لتنفيذ كافة المعاملات والتواصل مع الآخرين، وهي خدمة الاتصالات ودخول الإنترنت التي ما زالت متعثرة ولم ترَ النور في مركز العبلاء.

محمد عايض، أحد سكان المركز، قال لـ«عكاظ»: «نتمنى من الجهات ذات العلاقة أن تزور مركزنا وتتفقد أحواله، لدينا أطفال نريد أن نلحقهم بمدارس الروضة، لكن للأسف لا توجد، ولهذا نضطر أن نلحقهم بأقرب روضة أطفال تتبع لمنطقة الباحة، ومع ذلك نجدها مزدحمة ونتيجة لذلك بعض أطفالنا حرموا من دخول الروضة، وليت الأمر التعليمي يتوقف عند هذا الحد فبناتنا أيضاً يعانين من عدم حصولهن على فرصة الالتحاق بمدرسة للبنات لعدم توفرها بالمركز، ولهذا ننادي ونتمنى من وزارة التعليم أن تلتفت إلى مركزنا، وأن نرى التعليم بجميع مراحله في «العبلاء»، ونحن واثقون من حرص الوزارة على تنفيذ ذلك». ويضيف عبيد الأكلبي، أن معاناة ساكني العبلاء من غياب الخدمات في كفة وضعف شبكة الاتصالات في كفة أخرى، ولهذا نمنّي أنفسنا أن نرى خدمة الاتصالات في مركزنا، فالجميع يعلم أنها باتت أهم خدمة يحتاجها الإنسان في الوقت الحالي، لإنهاء كافة معاملاته وحتى التواصل مع أهله في المناطق الأخرى وقضاء حوائجه، فعدم توفر خدمة الإنترنت بالشكل الجيد يكبّد أبناءنا الدارسين من عدم متابعة دروسهم عبر المنصات، وسبق أن تواصلنا مع شركة الاتصالات أكثر من مرة وفي كل مرة يوعدوننا أن الوضع سيتحسّن ولكنها وعود دون تنفيذ.

محمد علي الأكلبي، أضاف قائلاً: بتنا نعتمد فقط في اتصالاتنا على برج صامت وشبكة متعثرة وضعيفة إلى درجة لا توصف منذ مدة طويلة، وكلما تقدّمنا ببلاغ إلى شركة الاتصالات أغلقوه دون معالجة.

ويضيف مبارك المزيدي وسعيد النشوي، أن المركز الصحي اعتمد بـ«العبلاء» عام 1435هـ من قبل صحة بيشة، لكنه تبخر ولم نعثر له على أثر رغم حاجة السكان لهذا المرفق الصحي المهم.

فيما يوجه سعد الأكلبي سؤاله إلى البلدية قائلاً: «أين التشجير وأين الأرصفة وأماكن المشي والحدائق والملاعب المسطحة الخضراء، نتمنى أن نراها في مركزنا».

Residents of Al-Abla Center, 100 km west of Bisha in the Asir region, have been waiting for years to see services reach their center, which has been experiencing an increase in its population over time. Until now, according to their statements, they hope to see more of the services that have become essential and urgent for carrying out all transactions and communicating with others, namely telecommunications and internet access, which are still stalled and have not seen the light in Al-Abla Center.

Mohammed Ayed, one of the residents of the center, told "Okaz": "we hope that the relevant authorities will visit our center and check on its conditions. We have children we want to enroll in kindergarten, but unfortunately, there are none available. Therefore, we are forced to enroll them in the nearest kindergarten that belongs to the Al-Baha region, and even then, we find it overcrowded, resulting in some of our children being denied entry to kindergarten. If only the educational issue stopped there; our daughters are also suffering from not having the opportunity to enroll in a girls' school due to its unavailability in the center. Therefore, we call on and hope that the Ministry of Education will pay attention to our center, and that we will see education at all levels in 'Al-Abla.' We are confident in the ministry's commitment to implement this." Obaid Al-Aklabi adds that the suffering of Al-Abla residents from the absence of services is one issue, while the weakness of the telecommunications network is another. Therefore, we hope to see telecommunications services in our center, as everyone knows it has become the most important service needed by individuals today to complete all their transactions and even communicate with their families in other areas and fulfill their needs. The lack of good internet service burdens our studying children, preventing them from following their lessons on platforms. We have previously contacted the telecommunications company multiple times, and each time they promise us that the situation will improve, but these are promises without implementation.

Mohammed Ali Al-Aklabi added: "We have come to rely solely on a silent tower and a weak, troubled network that is indescribably poor for a long time. Whenever we file a report to the telecommunications company, they close it without addressing the issue."

Mubarak Al-Mazidi and Saeed Al-Nashwi add that the health center in "Al-Abla" was established in 1435 AH by Bisha Health, but it has evaporated, and we have found no trace of it despite the residents' need for this important health facility.

Meanwhile, Saad Al-Aklabi directs his question to the municipality, saying: "Where are the trees, where are the sidewalks, walking paths, parks, and green flat playgrounds? We hope to see them in our center."
