تبدأ الولايات المتحدة تسويق النفط الفنزويلي تمهيداً لبيعه في السوق العالمية، في خطوة من شأنها أن تعزز نفوذ واشنطن في تجارة الطاقة عقب اعتقال الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو.
وقالت وزارة الطاقة الأمريكية في بيان اليوم إن الحكومة استعانت بكبرى شركات تسويق السلع العالمية وبنوك رئيسية لتولي عمليات بيع النفط الخام والمنتجات المكررة الفنزويلية.
دعم مالي
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن واشنطن ستوفر الدعم المالي اللازم لهذه الصفقات، مع إيداع عائدات بيع النفط أولاً في حسابات خاضعة للسيطرة الأمريكية لدى بنوك دولية معترف بها، لضمان شرعية ونزاهة التوزيع العادل للعوائد.
وأضافت: «عوائد بيع النفط سيُعاد توجيهها لصالح الشعبين الأمريكي والفنزويلي، على أن تبدأ عمليات البيع فوراً بكميات تراوح بين 30 و50 مليون برميل، مع خطط لاستمرار هذه المبيعات مستقبلاً».
تخفيف انتقائي
ولفتت إلى أن واشنطن شرعت في تخفيف انتقائي للعقوبات المفروضة على قطاع الطاقة الفنزويلي، بما يسمح بنقل وتسويق النفط الخام ومشتقاته عبر قنوات قانونية معتمدة.
وذكرت الوزارة أن اتفاقية الطاقة التي أعلن عنها ترمب، أمس، ستساهم في السماح لفنزويلا باستيراد معدات وخدمات نفطية معينة لدعم تحديث البنية التحتية ووقف تدهور الإنتاج، إلى جانب تحسين شبكة الكهرباء.

The U.S. Department of Energy stated today that the government has enlisted major global commodity marketing companies and key banks to handle the sale of Venezuelan crude oil and refined products.
Financial Support
The department indicated that Washington will provide the necessary financial support for these transactions, with the proceeds from oil sales first deposited into accounts under U.S. control at recognized international banks, to ensure the legitimacy and integrity of the fair distribution of revenues.
It added: "The proceeds from oil sales will be redirected for the benefit of both the American and Venezuelan peoples, with sales operations set to begin immediately, ranging between 30 and 50 million barrels, with plans for these sales to continue in the future."
Selective Easing
It noted that Washington has begun a selective easing of sanctions imposed on the Venezuelan energy sector, allowing for the transport and marketing of crude oil and its derivatives through approved legal channels.
The department mentioned that the energy agreement announced by Trump yesterday will help allow Venezuela to import certain oil equipment and services to support the modernization of infrastructure and halt the decline in production, along with improving the electricity grid.
