أكد الإيطالي سيميوني إنزاغي مدرب الهلال، أن المباراة كانت صعبة وضد فريق كبير وقوي ويملك لاعبين مميزين، مبيناً أن فريقه استحقّ الفوز كون لاعبيه قدموا جهداً كبيراً خلالها توجوه بمواصلة الانتصارات.

وقال: «خضنا مباراة جيدة، استمتع بها الجمهور، واستقبلنا هدفاً وهذا ممكن في مثل هذه المباريات، وعدنا وتمكنا من تحقيق الفوز، وأشكر جميع اللاعبين على ما قدموه خلال المباراة».

وأكد إنزاغي أنه يختار اللاعبين لتمثيل الفريق في كل مباراة بحسب رؤيته، مشيراً إلى أنه فضل إشراك متعب الحربي والإبقاء على المدافع التركي، نظراً لسرعة الحربي كونه يواجه الفرنسي كومان والبرتغالي فيليكس وهم لاعبان يمتازان بالسرعة.

وأشاد المدرب الإيطالي بجهود ودعم إدارة نادي الهلال للفريق من خلال الاستقطابات الأخيرة ومنها، سلطان مندش، والإسباني بابلو ماري، في ظل غياب المدافع السنغالي كوليبالي الذي يشارك حالياً مع منتخب بلاده في بطولة أفريقيا.

The Italian coach of Al-Hilal, Simone Inzaghi, confirmed that the match was difficult and against a big and strong team with outstanding players, noting that his team deserved to win as his players put in a great effort which culminated in continuing their victories.

He said: "we played a good match, which the audience enjoyed, and we conceded a goal, which is possible in such matches. We came back and managed to achieve victory, and I thank all the players for what they presented during the match."

Inzaghi confirmed that he selects players to represent the team in each match according to his vision, pointing out that he preferred to include Mutaib Al-Harbi and keep the Turkish defender on the bench, due to Al-Harbi's speed as he faces the Frenchman Coman and the Portuguese Felix, who are both known for their speed.

The Italian coach praised the efforts and support of Al-Hilal's management for the team through recent signings, including Sultan Mandash and the Spaniard Pablo Mari, in light of the absence of the Senegalese defender Koulibaly, who is currently participating with his national team in the Africa Cup.
