حذّر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، إيران من أن الولايات المتحدة «تراقبها عن كثب»، مؤكداً أن واشنطن دفعت بتعزيزات عسكرية كبيرة نحو المنطقة، في تصعيد جديد يأتي بعد أسبوع من احتجاجات عنيفة داخل إيران، اعتقد مراقبون أنها قد تدفع واشنطن إلى توجيه ضربة عسكرية لطهران.
وخلال حديثه للصحفيين على متن الطائرة الرئاسية «إير فورس وان» أثناء عودته من المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي في دافوس، شدد ترمب على أن بلاده تتابع التحركات الإيرانية «لحظة بلحظة»، كاشفاً عن تحرك «أسطول ضخم» باتجاه الشرق الأوسط تحسباً لأي تطورات.
وقال ترمب: «لدينا قوة بحرية كبيرة تتجه إلى تلك المنطقة، سنرى ما سيحدث. أفضّل ألا يحدث شيء، لكننا نراقبهم عن كثب شديد».
تحركات عسكرية أمريكية
