وجه اللاعب البرازيلي تشيكو رسالة إلى جماهير ناديه عبر حسابه الرسمي في موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «X»، عقب انتقال الفرنسي كريم بنزيما إلى الهلال خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية، بعد رفضه تجديد عقده. وقال: «أصبح اللاعبون ذوو المبادئ والقيم نادرين للغاية؛ هؤلاء الرجال أثرياء لدرجة أن المال هو كل ما تبقى لهم في الحياة، وهذا يدل على الكثير عنهم. سيبقى الاتحاد دائمًا أكبر من أي رياضي، لأن أعظم ما يملكه هو أنت، أيها المشجع. هيا يا اتحاد!».

وكان كريم بنزيما ودع جماهير الاتحاد بطريقته الخاصة، بعد إعلان انتقاله رسمياً إلى نادي الهلال، وأبدى احترامه لجماهير النادي على دعمها له طوال الفترة الماضية التي تُوج خلالها ببطولة الدوري وكأس الملك الموسم الماضي. جاء ذلك عبر حساب بنزيما الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «X»، وقال: «ينتهي هذا الفصل، لكن الاحترام والامتنان سيبقيان إلى الأبد». وتابع: «شكراً للنادي، وللطاقم، ولزملائي في الفريق، وخاصة للجماهير على الترحيب والحب والطاقة التي منحتموني إياها كل يوم». وأضاف: «لقد منحتني هذه الرحلة الكثير على الصعيدين الشخصي والمهني. أغادرها مرفوع الرأس، فخوراً بارتداء هذه الألوان وبكل ما شاركناه».
