كشف الأمين العام لمنتدى مكة للحلال يوسف خلاوي، أن تقديرات حجم سوق الحلال في 2025 وصلت إلى 7 تريليونات دولار، وإنه من المتوقع أن تبلغ 10 تريليونات دولار بحلول 2030.
وقال خلاوي في مقابلة مع «العربية Business» على هامش منتدى الحلال المقام في مكة المكرمة: «المنتدى أطلق فعالية «صدى الحلال» للتعاون مع المؤثرين حول العالم للتعريف بالمنتج الحلال».
وأضاف: «المملكة أطلقت رؤية مهمة، وهي أن تكون مركزاً لصناعة الحلال في العالم، وهذا من أسباب الإقبال على منتدى مكة للحلال، وقد جرى بيع المعروضات في الفعالية بالكامل لجهات دولية استقطبها المعرض».
صناعة احترافية
وكانت أعمال النسخة الثالثة من منتدى مكة للحلال 2026، انطلقت بتنظيم من مبادرة «منافع»، خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 16 فبراير، تحت شعار «الحلال صناعة احترافية»، في مركز غرفة مكة للمعارض والفعاليات، وبرعاية وزير التجارة الدكتور ماجد القصبي.
وافتُتحت فعاليات اليوم الأول بكلمة للأمين العام للغرفة الإسلامية للتجارة والتنمية يوسف حسن خلاوي، أكد خلالها أن منتدى مكة للحلال يُعدّ أحد أبرز مخرجات مبادرة «منافع» العالمية، الهادفة إلى ترسيخ مكانة مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة مركزين جامعَين للمسلمين من مختلف أنحاء العالم في مجالات الأعمال والاستثمار والتجارة.
توجه إستراتيجي
وأوضح خلاوي أن شعار المنتدى لهذا العام «الحلال صناعة احترافية» يعكس توجهاً استراتيجياً نحو الانتقال من المفهوم التقليدي للحلال، باعتباره امتثالاً دينياً فقط إلى منظومة صناعية متكاملة ترتكز على المعايير، والحوكمة، والشفافية، وبناء الثقة المؤسسية. مشيراً إلى أن مستقبل القطاع لا يمكن أن يُبنى إلا على أساس الاحترافية في الإدارة، والتشغيل، والتمويل، والتسويق.
وأشار خلاوي إلى أنه لا توجد منصة أولى أو أصدق من مكة المكرمة ليجتمع فيها القادة لصياغة مستقبل صناعة الحلال، مبيناً أن ذلك لا يُعدّ مصادرةً لأدوار المنصات الدولية الأخرى أو منافسةً لها، بل إدراكاً لخصوصية المكان ورمزيته ومكانته في وجدان المسلمين حول العالم.
The Secretary-General of the Makkah Forum for Halal, Youssef Khalawi, revealed that estimates of the halal market size in 2025 have reached 7 trillion dollars, and it is expected to reach 10 trillion dollars by 2030.
Khalawi said in an interview with "Al Arabiya Business" on the sidelines of the Halal Forum held in Makkah: "The forum launched the 'Echo of Halal' initiative to collaborate with influencers around the world to promote halal products."
He added: "The Kingdom has launched an important vision to be a global center for the halal industry, which is one of the reasons for the interest in the Makkah Forum for Halal. All the showcased products at the event were sold to international entities attracted by the exhibition."
Professional Industry
The third edition of the Makkah Forum for Halal 2026 was launched, organized by the "Manafaa" initiative, from February 14 to 16, under the slogan "Halal is a Professional Industry," at the Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry exhibition center, and under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi.
The first day of the event opened with a speech by the Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, Youssef Hassan Khalawi, during which he emphasized that the Makkah Forum for Halal is one of the most prominent outcomes of the global "Manafaa" initiative, aimed at establishing Makkah and Madinah as central hubs for Muslims from around the world in the fields of business, investment, and trade.
Strategic Direction
Khalawi explained that this year's forum slogan, "Halal is a Professional Industry," reflects a strategic direction towards transitioning from the traditional concept of halal, viewed solely as a religious compliance, to a comprehensive industrial system based on standards, governance, transparency, and building institutional trust. He pointed out that the future of the sector can only be built on the basis of professionalism in management, operations, financing, and marketing.
Khalawi noted that there is no platform more fitting or authentic than Makkah for leaders to gather and shape the future of the halal industry, indicating that this does not undermine the roles of other international platforms or compete with them, but rather acknowledges the uniqueness of the place and its symbolism and status in the hearts of Muslims around the world.
