ارتفعت الإصابات بمرض الحصبة في الولايات المتحدة إلى أعلى مستوى لها منذ عام 1991، بعد تسجيل 2318 إصابة مؤكدة منذ مطلع العام الحالي، وفق أحدث بيانات صادرة عن مراكز السيطرة على الأمراض والوقاية منها (CDC).
وأوضحت المراكز أن عدد الإصابات المسجلة هذا العام تجاوز إجمالي الحالات التي تم رصدها خلال العام الماضي، ليبلغ أعلى مستوياته في نحو 35 عامًا، في مؤشر على اتساع نطاق انتشار المرض.
وبحسب البيانات، تم تسجيل 2302 إصابة في 45 ولاية أمريكية، إلى جانب 16 حالة بين زوار أجانب حتى أمس (الخميس)، فيما بلغ إجمالي الإصابات المؤكدة خلال عام 2025 نحو 2289 حالة.
وأكدت مراكز السيطرة على الأمراض أن الحصبة تُعد من أكثر الأمراض المعدية في العالم، وتزداد فرص انتشارها خلال مواسم السفر وارتفاع حركة التنقل، أو في الأماكن المزدحمة التي تضم أشخاصًا غير حاصلين على اللقاحات اللازمة.

According to the data, 2,302 cases were recorded in 45 U.S. states, along with 16 cases among foreign visitors as of yesterday (Thursday), while the total confirmed cases during 2025 were around 2,289.
The Centers for Disease Control confirmed that measles is one of the most contagious diseases in the world, and the chances of its spread increase during travel seasons and heightened mobility, or in crowded places that include individuals who have not received the necessary vaccinations.
