عبّر مدرب الاتحاد سيرجيو كونسيساو، عن سعادته بالمستوى الذي قدمه لاعبوه خلال الفوز على الشارقة الإماراتي بثلاثية نظيفة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الرابعة من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، في المباراة التي أقيمت على ملعب «الإنماء» بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة.

جاء ذلك خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عُقد عقب اللقاء، وأكد كونسيساو أن المواجهة لم تكن سهلة، وأن التحضير لها جاء بشكل مكثف رغم ضيق الوقت بين المباريات، مشيراً إلى أن الجهاز الفني عمل على دراسة فريق الشارقة بصورة دقيقة ما أسهم في تحسين الأداء مقارنة بالمواجهة السابقة في الدوري.

وبيّن أن الفريق يمر بمرحلة ضغط في الجدول الزمني، إذ لا يتوفر وقت كافٍ لمتابعة جميع اللاعبين بشكل تفصيلي، مؤكداً أن فترة التوقف القادمة في نوفمبر الجاري ستُستثمر في العمل الفني لتطوير الجوانب التكتيكية.

وتحدّث المدرب عن لاعب الفريق الشاب دومبيا، واصفاً إياه بالموهبة الواعدة ذات الإمكانات العالية، مشيراً إلى أن التوجيهات المستمرة ساعدته على الظهور بمستوى أفضل خلال المباراة، مؤكّداً حرصه على تطوير جميع اللاعبين ومنحهم الفرصة لإظهار قدراتهم.

من جانبه، أبدى لاعب الاتحاد موسى ديابي، الحاصل على جائزة أفضل لاعب في المباراة، سعادته بالمستوى الجماعي الذي قدمه الفريق، موضحاً أن التحضير كان جيداً وأن اللاعبين نجحوا في خلق العديد من الفرص رغم صعوبة الخصم، مشيراً إلى أن تركيز الفريق يتجه الآن إلى مواجهة الأهلي في الدوري السبت القادم.

وأشاد ديابي بعمل المدرب كونسيساو، مؤكداً أن الفريق تطوّر على المستوى الفني، وأن خبرة المدرب الكبيرة تسهم في تعزيز الانسجام داخل المجموعة وتحقيق أفضل أداء ممكن في المنافسات القادمة.

Union coach Sergio Conceição expressed his happiness with the level his players showed during their 3-0 victory over Emirati Sharjah, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League, in a match held at the "Al-Inma" Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.

This came during the press conference held after the match, where Conceição confirmed that the encounter was not easy, and that the preparation for it was intensive despite the short time between matches, pointing out that the coaching staff worked on studying the Sharjah team in detail, which contributed to improving performance compared to the previous league match.

He indicated that the team is going through a period of pressure in the schedule, as there is not enough time to monitor all players in detail, emphasizing that the upcoming break in November will be invested in technical work to develop tactical aspects.

The coach spoke about the young team player Dombia, describing him as a promising talent with high potential, noting that continuous guidance helped him perform better during the match, and confirming his commitment to developing all players and giving them the opportunity to showcase their abilities.

For his part, Union player Moussa Diaby, who won the Best Player of the Match award, expressed his happiness with the collective level the team displayed, explaining that the preparation was good and that the players succeeded in creating many opportunities despite the difficulty of the opponent, pointing out that the team's focus is now on facing Al-Ahli in the league next Saturday.

Diaby praised the work of coach Conceição, confirming that the team has developed at the technical level, and that the coach's vast experience contributes to enhancing cohesion within the group and achieving the best possible performance in the upcoming competitions.
