التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله اليوم رئيس مجلس الوزراء في لبنان نواف سلام، وذلك على هامش الاجتماع السنوي للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي 2026 في مدينة دافوس السويسرية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين، وبحث أوجه التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، كما جرى مناقشة المستجدات في الجمهورية اللبنانية والتأكيد على وقوف المملكة إلى جانب الدولة اللبنانية، وتثمين جهود الحكومة اللبنانية في بسط السيادة وحصر السلاح بيد الدولة ومؤسساتها الشرعية، والخطوات الإصلاحية التي اتخذتها ومساعيها للحفاظ على مقدرات لبنان وسلامة ووحدة أراضيه.
حضر اللقاء مستشار وزير الخارجية للشأن اللبناني الأمير يزيد بن محمد بن فهد بن فرحان، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الاتحاد السويسري وإمارة ليختنشتاين عبدالرحمن الداود، ومستشار وزير الخارجية محمد اليحيى.
Today, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026 in the Swiss city of Davos.
During the meeting, the brotherly relations between the two countries were reviewed, and aspects of joint cooperation in various fields were discussed. The latest developments in the Lebanese Republic were also addressed, emphasizing the Kingdom's support for the Lebanese state and appreciating the efforts of the Lebanese government in asserting sovereignty and restricting arms to the state and its legitimate institutions, as well as the reform steps it has taken and its efforts to preserve Lebanon's resources and the safety and unity of its territories.
Attending the meeting were the Foreign Minister's Advisor for Lebanese Affairs, Prince Yazid bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Farhan, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein, Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, and the Foreign Minister's Advisor, Mohammed Al-Yahya.
