نبَّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد اليوم من هطول أمطار خفيفة إلى متوسطة مصحوبة برياح نشطة وصواعق رعدية، على عدد من محافظات ومراكز منطقة مكة المكرمة، تشمل جدة، وخليص، والكامل، ورابغ، وأضم، وبحرة؛ تؤدي إلى تدنٍ في مدى الرؤية الأفقية، وتساقط للبرد، وجريان للسيول، وارتفاع الأمواج في المناطق الساحلية منها.
وبيّن المركز في تقرير له أن الحالة تستمر حتى الساعة الثامنة مساءً.
وأشار بيان أصدره مركز الأرصاد اليوم إلى هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق المدينة المنورة، والقصيم، وحائل، وتبوك، والجوف، والحدود الشمالية، والشرقية، والأجزاء الشمالية من منطقة الرياض.
وأشار تقرير سابق للأرصاد إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين يصل إلى مترين ونصف مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط.
The National Center of Meteorology warned today of light to moderate rain accompanied by active winds and thunderstorms in several governorates and centers of the Makkah region, including Jeddah, Khulais, Al-Kamil, Rabigh, Adham, and Bahra; which will lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility, hail, flash floods, and rising waves in the coastal areas.
The center indicated in its report that the situation will continue until 8 PM.
A statement issued by the Meteorology Center today pointed to moderate to heavy thunderstorm rains that will lead to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the regions of Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, the Eastern region, and the northern parts of the Riyadh region.
A previous report from the meteorology indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are southwesterly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 20-40 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the northern and central parts. The wave height ranges from one to two meters, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the northern and central parts, and the sea condition is light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the northern and central parts.
