تحذير أمريكي وردّ إيراني
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي قد حذّر من أن «الوقت ينفد» أمام إيران للتوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن برنامجها النووي. إلا أن المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، إسماعيل بقائي، شدد على أن طهران «لا تقبل أبداً الإنذارات»، نافياً تأكيد تلقي أي رسائل تتضمن مهلة زمنية.

وأفادت مصادر دبلوماسية لوكالة «إيسنا» الإيرانية بأن محادثات بين وفدين تفاوضيين من إيران والولايات المتحدة قد تنطلق خلال الأيام القادمة، على أن يديرها وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي والمبعوث الأمريكي الخاص للشرق الأوسط ستيف ويتكوف.
وفي السياق ذاته، نقلت وكالة «فارس» عن مصدر حكومي أن الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان أصدر توجيهاً ببدء محادثات مع الولايات المتحدة، تتركز على الملف النووي.

For its part, The New York Times cited a senior Iranian official and a regional official, as well as a former Iranian diplomat, indicating that a meeting is expected to take place in Istanbul involving Steve Wittekov and Jared Kushner with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, aimed at de-escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Diplomatic sources informed the Iranian news agency ISNA that talks between negotiating delegations from Iran and the United States may begin in the coming days, to be managed by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and U.S. Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Wittekov.
In this context, the Fars news agency reported a government source stating that Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian issued a directive to initiate talks with the United States, focusing on the nuclear file.
