يرعى أمير المنطقة الشرقية رئيس مجلس هيئة تطوير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز غداً ملتقى الطرق والنقل، الذي تنظمه هيئة تطوير المنطقة الشرقية تحت عنوان «نمضي بخطى ثابتة.. لمستقبل يواكب رؤيتنا». ويتضمّن الملتقى استعراض مشاريع الطرق في المنطقة الشرقية لعام 2026، إلى جانب توقيع عددٍ من الاتفاقيات التي تدعم جودة الحياة ومنظومة النقل في المنطقة، وجلسات حوارية ومحاضرات علمية لمناقشة أبرز التحديات والفرص في تطوير النقل، والتعريف بأحدث التقنيات والحلول الذكية.
ويأتي الملتقى امتداداً للنجاح، الذي حققته نسخته الأولى، إذ يجمع نخبة من القيادات وصُنّاع القرار والخبراء في قطاع الطرق والنقل، بمشاركة عددٍ من الجهات الحكومية والخاصة؛ بهدف تحقيق التكامل بين الجهات المعنية وتعزيز الشراكات بين القطاعين؛ بما يسهم في تطوير البنية التحتية، وتحسين جودة الخدمات.
وأكَّد الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تطوير المنطقة الشرقية المكلف الدكتور طلال نبيل المغلوث، أن رعاية أمير المنطقة الشرقية رئيس مجلس الهيئة تسهم في تعزيز الكفاءة والاستدامة وتحسين جودة الحياة لسكان وزوار المنطقة، تماشياً مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030؛ لتحقيق تنمية حضرية مستدامة.
The Emir of the Eastern Province, Chairman of the Eastern Province Development Authority, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, will sponsor tomorrow the Roads and Transport Forum, organized by the Eastern Province Development Authority under the title "We Move Steadily... Towards a Future that Aligns with Our Vision." The forum will include a presentation of road projects in the Eastern Province for the year 2026, in addition to the signing of several agreements that support the quality of life and the transport system in the region, as well as discussion sessions and scientific lectures to address the most prominent challenges and opportunities in transport development, and to introduce the latest technologies and smart solutions.
The forum comes as a continuation of the success achieved by its first edition, as it brings together a select group of leaders, decision-makers, and experts in the roads and transport sector, with the participation of several governmental and private entities; aiming to achieve integration among the concerned parties and enhance partnerships between the two sectors; contributing to the development of infrastructure and improving the quality of services.
The Acting CEO of the Eastern Province Development Authority, Dr. Talal Nabil Al-Maghlouth, confirmed that the sponsorship of the Emir of the Eastern Province, Chairman of the Authority, contributes to enhancing efficiency and sustainability and improving the quality of life for residents and visitors of the region, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030; to achieve sustainable urban development.
