كشفت السلطات الباكستانية هوية منفذ الهجوم على مسجد في إسلام أباد، مؤكدة أنه يدعى ياسر خان ياسر، وأنه من سكان بيشاور وتلقى تدريباً في أفغانستان.
وأفادت مصادر مقربة من التحقيق، اليوم(السبت)، بأن المهاجم خان يقيم في أفغانستان منذ حوالى 5 أشهر قبل أن يعود إلى باكستان، بحسب ما أوردت شبكة «جيو نيوز» الباكستانية، اليوم السبت.
ويبحث المحققون في روابط محتملة بين المهاجم وتنظيم ولاية خراسان، وهو فرع من تنظيم داعش ينشط في وسط وجنوب آسيا، ولفت المحققون إلى أن التحقيقات لا تزال جارية في تلك المرحلة. ويعتقد أن ياسر خان، الذي كان يميل إلى المدرسة المتشددة، تلقى تدريباً عسكرياً خلال إقامته في أفغانستان.
وقالت السلطات إن الجهود جارية لكشف الشبكة الكاملة التي تقف وراء الهجوم.
وأعلن تنظيم داعش الإرهابي مسؤوليته عن الهجوم الدموي على مسجد شيعي في العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام أباد. وجاء التبني عبر وكالة تابعة للتنظيم، ونشرت بياناً على تطبيق «تليغرام»، وصورة قالت إنها للمفجر الانتحاري.
وقتل ما لا يقل عن 31 شخصاً في الهجوم أثناء صلاة الجمعة في إحدى ضواحي إسلام أباد. وأصيب نحو 170 آخرين، وفق ما أعلن مسؤولون.
وأظهرت صور من موقع الانفجار جثثاً ملطخة بالدماء على أرضية المسجد محاطة بشظايا الزجاج والحطام، وسط حالة من الذعر بين المصلين.
وكان عشرات الجرحى الآخرين يستلقون في الحديقة الخارجية للمسجد، بينما كان الناس يستغيثون طلباً للمساعدة.
وفي 11 نوفمبر الماضي، أسفر تفجير انتحاري في العاصمة إسلام أباد عن مقتل 12 شخصا وإصابة 27 آخرين في هجوم لم تعلن أية جهة مسؤوليتها عنه.
