ضبطت الفرق الرقابية في الهيئة العامة للنقل خلال جولاتها التفتيشية التي نفذتها بالتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة في شهر يناير الجاري أكثر من (689) مخالفة في نشاط نقل الركاب دون الحصول على ترخيص «الكدادة» بمختلف مناطق المملكة، أوقعت بحقهم الإجراءات النظامية التي شملت حجز المركبات وإيقاع غرامات مالية وإبعاد غير السعودي، وفقاً للوائح نظام النقل البري الجديد على الطرق.

وأوضحت الهيئة أن هذه الحملات الرقابية تأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة للحد من الممارسات غير النظامية التي تضر بجودة نقل الركاب وسلامتهم، وتحسين تنافسية قطاع النقل، مؤكدة أن هذه الحملات تسهم بدورها في تعزيز معدل الامتثال بقطاع نقل الركاب، تحقيقاً لمستهدفات الإستراتيجية الوطنية للنقل والخدمات اللوجستية. وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن الفرق الرقابية ضبطت خلال الشهر ذاته (614) مخالفاً مارسوا الأعمال التحضيرية (المناداة) لنقل الركاب عبر مركباتهم الخاصة دون ترخيص، إضافةً إلى (75) مخالفاً قاموا بنقل الركاب بطرق غير نظامية، وجرى تطبيق العقوبات المقررة نظامياً بحقهم مع حجز (83) مركبة. وأكدت الهيئة أن النظام الجديد للنقل البري على الطرق شدد على منع ممارسة النقل دون ترخيص نظامي، ونصت العقوبات عند تكرار المخالفات على غرامات مالية تصل إلى (11) ألف ريال مع حجز المركبة لمدة (25) يوماً بحق من يقوم بالأعمال التحضيرية (المناداة)، فيما تصل العقوبات إلى غرامة قدرها (20) ألف ريال وحجز المركبة لمدة تصل إلى (60) يوماً بحق من يزاول النقل غير النظامي مع إمكانية بيع المركبة المخالفة في مزاد علني وإبعاد غير السعودي في حال تكرار المخالفة.

The regulatory teams at the Public Transport Authority have detected more than (689) violations in passenger transport activities without obtaining a "Kaddadah" license in various regions of the Kingdom during their inspection rounds conducted in cooperation with relevant authorities in January. Legal procedures were taken against them, including vehicle impoundment, financial fines, and deportation of non-Saudis, in accordance with the new land transport regulations on the roads.

The Authority clarified that these regulatory campaigns are part of its ongoing efforts to curb irregular practices that harm the quality and safety of passenger transport and to improve the competitiveness of the transport sector. It emphasized that these campaigns contribute to enhancing compliance rates in the passenger transport sector, in line with the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy. The Authority noted that during the same month, the regulatory teams detected (614) violators who engaged in preparatory work (hailing) for passenger transport using their private vehicles without a license, in addition to (75) violators who transported passengers through irregular means. Legal penalties were applied against them, along with the impoundment of (83) vehicles. The Authority confirmed that the new land transport regulations on the roads have tightened the prohibition on transporting passengers without a legal license, stipulating that repeated violations incur financial fines of up to (11) thousand riyals and vehicle impoundment for (25) days for those engaged in preparatory work (hauling), while penalties for practicing irregular transport can reach a fine of (20) thousand riyals and vehicle impoundment for up to (60) days, along with the possibility of selling the violating vehicle at a public auction and deporting non-Saudis in case of repeated violations.
